Freedom Collective is a Spirit-led ministry devoted to awakening hearts to the reality of Jesus through the power of the gospel, miracles, signs and wonders, and the transformative presence of God. We exist to reach the lost, ignite the Church, and cultivate freedom through encounters with the Holy Spirit.

Founded in October 2022

What began as a worship night in James and Aly Thayer’s living room has blossomed into Freedom Collective—an evangelistic and equipping ministry made up of 12+ churches working together in the unity of the body of Christ to win the lost and set the Church on fire. We believe in being the Church, not just a church. That’s why having team members from multiple congregations is so important to us. When believers unite around the common mission of advancing God’s kingdom, nothing can stand in their way.

Encounter the Way Events

Freedom Collective puts on multiple different kinds of events. Our primary one is called “Encounter the Way”. We bring the gospel into the streets, campuses, and everyday spaces—places where many have never experienced the love of God firsthand. At each event, we create space for live worship, a clear and compelling gospel message, and powerful ministry that includes physical healing, inner healing, deliverance, and prophetic encouragement.

Freedom Night Events

We also host Freedom Nights—gatherings typically held in churches or worship spaces. These nights are less evangelistic in nature and more focused on deep ministry for the Body of Christ. With an emphasis on healing, deliverance, and prophetic flow, Freedom Nights create an atmosphere for believers to receive freedom, fresh fire, and a renewed encounter with God’s presence.

Equipping Workshop Events

Training and equipping are core to our mission. Through classes like Spiritual Warfare 1, 2, and 3, Inner Healing Workshops, Prophecy Workshops, and Evangelism Training, we help believers grow in spiritual authority, discernment, and practical tools for ministering with confidence and power. Whether you’re just beginning your journey or you’ve been walking with God for years, there’s a place for you to grow here.

Leadership Team

James and Aly Thayer received this ministry from the Lord in October of 2022. Both coming out of cultural Christianity, the Holy Spirit lit a fire under each of them and left them questioning…”If people aren’t getting saved, healed, delivered and set free, what are we even doing?” Both of them have left their successful businesses, and “burned the plow” so to speak. Their goal in life is to please the Father and follow Him wherever and to whomever He pleases. The couple resides in Nashville, TN with their beautiful family.

Joel Cosand was at the initial worship night at the Thayers that started it all. Hungry for the things of God, Joel has run along side the growth of this ministry from the beginning. He is a powerful teacher and prophetic voice to the ministry. He also pastorally cares for our team to shepherd them well.

Ethan Sherrer is a trusted prophetic voice for Freedom Collective. He brings teaching, prophecy, and fire to our team. You can often find Ethan in his prayer closet, crying out for the lost, as well as the Bride. Ethan has a deep desire for the church to know and seek the face of God.

Ethan is also a location leader of Citipointe Church Franklin, spearheading a move of God right in the heart of Franklin.

Michael Piper is a key member of our team, bringing wisdom and a servants heart to the table. Michael is currently completing his degree in theology. He is a humble teacher, leader, and evangelist. Michael helps onboard new team members and makes team feel at home.

Landon Henley is an evangelist who serves on the leadership team with Freedom Collective, driven by a singular heart and mission: to know Jesus and make Him known. Landon helps FCM forge meaningful relationships with church partners, as well as serve as a lead evangelist, directly equipping the FCM team.

Full-time, Landon serves as a Reentry Minister with Men of Valor, a discipleship ministry dedicated to winning incarcerated men to Christ. His passion for this work is deeply personal. After a powerful encounter with Jesus while in prison, the Lord radically delivered him from years of demonic bondage, addiction, mental anguish, and a destructive cycle of incarceration.

Having experienced the love and transforming power of the Gospel firsthand, Landon now passionately co-labors to reach back into the fire and pull others out.

Driven by the urgency of the Gospel, Landon dedicates his life to sharing the message of radical redemption, equipping believers, and ensuring the hope of the Savior is made known to all.

As passionate worshipers of Jesus, Jesse and Christa Huff long to see revival break out across Nashville and throughout the United States. In pursuit of this mission, they lead Burn 24/7 Nashville, partnering with FCM to bring the sound of heaven to earth through worship, prayer, and unity.

Jesse and Christa also lead King’s Hill House of Prayer, where a continual sound of intercession is being lifted over the city of Nashville.

Burn 24/7 is a global movement of worshipers hosting the Presence of God through regular, unified gatherings of extended prayer and worship in cities and regions around the world.
